Refund Policy
Refund Policy
Last updated: 04/08/2025
At Remembering Tomorrow, we take great pride in delivering personalised, high-quality life writing services. Because each project is custom-created and time-intensive, our refund policy is designed to reflect the care and resources that go into every commission.
1. Deposits
-
All projects require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and begin work. This covers preparation, research, and initial consultation time.
-
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including client-initiated cancellations.
2. Refunds Before Work Begins
-
If you request to cancel your project before any work has commenced beyond the initial consultation, no additional charges will apply beyond the deposit.
-
Any advance payments (excluding the deposit) may be refundable at our discretion.
3. Refunds After Work Has Started
-
If you cancel after work has started, you will be invoiced for all work completed to date, calculated based on:
-
Time spent (hourly or milestone-based)
-
Resources used (transcriptions, research, editing)
-
-
Any unused balance (beyond the cost of completed work) may be refunded.
4. Final Deliverables
-
Once a final version of the memoir, story, or product is delivered, no refunds will be issued.
-
If you're unsatisfied with the work, we offer up to two rounds of revisions (as outlined in your agreement) to address concerns.
-
Additional revisions beyond this may be charged separately and are not grounds for refund.
5. Missed Deadlines Due to Client
-
If timelines are delayed due to a lack of communication or delayed feedback from the client, this does not constitute grounds for a refund.
-
We reserve the right to place the project on hold or cancel it altogether if communication ceases for more than 30 days.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
-
In rare situations (e.g. personal emergencies, force majeure), partial refunds or rescheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
All refund decisions in these cases are at the sole discretion of Remembering Tomorrow.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancel your project, please contact us in writing at:
📧 zak@rememberingtomorrow.co.uk
Include your full name, project title, and reason for cancellation.
8. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue will be considered a breach of our agreement. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with documented proof of delivered services.
If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please reach out. We’re always happy to talk things through with care and transparency.
